District 7 artist Teruko Nimura worked tirelessly with district residents throughout the summer and fall in 2015 to create beautiful origami wish lanterns. But when the time came to install her work, after weeks of dry weather, rains poured down and disrupted her attempts to install the lanterns in Beverly Sheffield Park. Now the weather is back in our favor and Teruko is ready roll again this coming Sunday, February 28th at 6:00PM! Come join us for the installation and lighting of Teruko's beautiful and ephemeral work. We'll have drinks and nibbles available for visitors, and we'll be honored by a visit from Council Member Leslie Pool.
Gather with us as we celebrate District 7, Teruko's community inspired work. We couldn't think of a more beautiful way to start the 2016 Drawing Lines project festivities.
